The splash pad is a great way for children to cool off on a hot day, while the adults can rent pavilions where they can gather with friends and family. A turf field in the park can be used for sports in different leagues and requires a permit for larger groups.

Surrey Ridge and Castle Pines are communities that care about their animals. Dog owners love the Glendale Open Space Dog Park, a 1.6-mile loop that allows dogs to be off a leash and get a sense of freedom. The Glendale Open Space Dog Park is one of the busiest dog parks in Colorado.
