Castle Rock

A beautiful community with vast open spaces surrounded by the mountains

Welcome to Castle Rock

A beautiful community with vast open spaces surrounded by the mountains

When I first moved to Colorado, I moved to Castle Rock on the beautiful Bell Mountain Ranch.  It was a five acre property in a horse community.  Castle Rock was a tiny town of less than 40,000 people.  Since that time, the population has nearly doubled in size.  I love to see how Castle Rock has grown, including the addition of Festival Park.  Festival Park is the home of concerts, yoga and the farmer's market.

Castle Rock is the county seat of Douglas County and has so much to offer. There are numerous hikes and open spaces. The community has added so much in the are of food and shopping, with restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries.  There are also recreational centers and the Mac Incline.

Art is well-loved by the community of Castle Rock, where you’ll see paintings and photography prominently displayed. The area is known for being a wine hub in Colorado and the site of Castle Rock WineFest.

What to Love

The thing I love the most about Castle Rock is coming over the hill and seeing the amazing view.  After over a decade, the view never gets old.  While shopping at the Sam's Club or taking a walk, the mountain views are a sight to behold.  Castle Rock is a great place for families and you will often see kiddos playing sports all year round.  I loved seeing the deer out my front door and the slow pace of Castle Rock.

  • Tons of options for dining, shopping, and entertainment
  • Rural community with a short commute to the big city
